With this post, I would like to start new series about cheap and easy food ideas we can share and actually try in our everyday life. I hope you are going to enjoy and share!

If' you've ever been looking for easy and quick lunch idea there is no better place to start! Today I'd like to show how effortless and cheap you can make your lunch tasty. Are you a pizza fun? If the answer is yes, you definitely need to try this one.

All you need is:

  • flat bread
  • olive oil
  • oregano
  • tomato puree
  • cheese
Other ingredients are optional. I added ham, olives and courgette.

Mix oregano, olive oil and tomato puree and put as a sauce on the flat bread. Then add all ingredients you like.

Place in the oven for about 15-20 minutes, 180C degrees.

And enjoy delicious and easy lunch!

In terms of cost, it all depends what you going to add to your pizza. For 2 mini pizzas I used:
  • 2 flat breads (30p)
  • half tube of tomato puree (20p)
  • a little bit of olive and oregano (30p)
  • ham (35p)
  • cheese (40p)
  • courgette, which I got on massive sale (10p)
  • olives (10p)
In total I've spent about 1.75 plus obviously energy costs to bake the pizza.
Not expensive at all, isn't it?

Let me know what do you think about this recipe and what's yours cheap and quick lunch ideas.
